Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Healthcare Pediatric In-Home Registered Nursing
Job Responsibilities
Our Pediatric In-Home Registered Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans and maintaining medical records.
Additional responsibilities of this role include:
Performing observations and assessments of patient condition and needs
Documenting all patient care actions
Monitoring and interpreting vital signs
Assisting with the development of a patient care plans
Collaborating in the identification of patient needs and/or problems
Educating caregivers with information to assist with the care of the patient
Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Healthcare Pediatric In-Home Registered Nursing
Job Requirements
You should have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and their caregivers. You must be able to prioritize and have excellent organizational skills.
Additional requirements of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse include:
Valid RN or LPN license in the state of employment
Experience as a pediatric nurse preferred
Valid CPR certification
Evidence of a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Private Duty Home Care experience preferred
